Florida MEP Overview

The Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership is an affiliate of NIST’s Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) under the U.S. Department of Commerce, a national network of 59 not-for-profit centers that provide assistance to small and midsize manufacturers with the common goal to strengthen the global competitiveness of U.S. manufacturers. For the past 20 years, the MEP has worked with manufacturers to realize cost savings, new sales, and retained sales. The national MEP system produces more than $1.4 billion in cost savings and $9.1 billion in increased or retained sales annually. MEP provides companies with services and access to public and private resources that enhance growth, improve productivity, and expand capacity.
