Train through M.O.S.T.® TechPoint® Training with the Florida Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Florida MEP)

We are looking for a few good people who can participate in and successfully complete an intensive 2-week training* program that will lead to an immediate, full-time permanent job with additional on-the-job training with an area manufacturer. Take advantage of this career-building specialized training using sophisticated world class virtual reality tools never offered before in the USA. There is no charge for this training but you must meet the qualifications listed below.

*Training is provided through a US Department of Labor grant and is unpaid.

How to apply:

Send us your resume ONLY if you meet the following requirements:

•	Have a desire to transition into a career with strong growth potential

•	You must have at least some post-secondary courses plus industrial experience

•	Machine Operation experience (lathes / mills)

•	Blueprint & gage reading ability

•	Computer skills required

•	Can pass a national criminal background check

•	Can pass a drug test

•	Can pass a basic educational test

•	Must have a command of the English language

•	Able to attend and complete 2 weeks of unpaid training

•	US Citizen or authorized to work

•	Currently unemployed or underemployed

Selected applicants will receive screening, testing and a detailed interview. Qualified candidates will then interview with the employer. The selected applicants will attend a 2-week intensive training program (unpaid) to prepare for the position.

The training is a fast-paced, intensive virtual reality program that will prepare the applicant for a permanent, full-time job with career-building potential. Training will take place in the Tampa and Clearwater area.

CNC Machinists:

Take your machinist career to the next level: 12 immediate job openings in CNC Machining in Tampa and Clearwater: If you have some post-secondary education and machining experience, this opportunity is for you! A limited number of positions available in a specialized 2-week training program paid for by a DOL grant awarded to Florida MEP. Upon completion of training, you will have the immediate opportunity to fill a pre-identified CNC job opening in the Tampa and Clearwater area.
